Hello everyone I'm sad to say that we will not be able to participate in the Gilmer county fair. The lions club rules of attendance says everyone has to have proof of insurance and we don't have insurance any longer since the restaurant closed. Our insurance carrier doesn't write one time event policies. I am so sorry to disappoint everyone that was planning on attending. We will post anything on this page that comes up we love you Ellijay and miss serving you. Please share this so we can let everyone know.

Hello everyone We hope you all are doing well. I am sorry to say that we could not order the crawfish we did not have enough calls for reservations to have them shipped from Louisiana. If we have enough posts on this facebook page we will have one, but at his time everyone has other plans. Crawfish season ends around the end of June and sometimes the first of July we would really love to have another one for our customers before the end of the season but it will depend on if we have the reservations or not. We will watch to see if we have enough calls in the next few weeks, if we need to we are willing to have more than one. Thank you and have a great weekend....

Hello everyone I have great news we will be able to get the crawfish for Memorial Day weekend, but if you are interested it is very important that you call! You must call by 3:00 pm Wednesday for us to order them! If we can't get enough orders to have them shipped from Louisiana to us we will not be able to order them. So please call and make your reservation. You can call the restaurant number 706-276-2400 it will go to the number I had the phone transferred to when we closed the restaurant. Also, If you would like some Boudin balls we will be taking orders for those. We will post on Wednesday if there are enough reservations to have the crawfish shipped. Hello everyone this is one of the hardest posts I have had to write. With a sad heart I have to say that today may 02, 2018 Boudreaux's taste of Louisiana closed it's doors tonight. We had spoken with the Landlord about the amount of rent we were trying to pay hoping that he would lower it instead of raising it. It has been very hard to get through the winter. But unfortunately he would not lower it. We have been able to serve you for a year but now we are having to turn the space over to him and we will close until we find another location. I am so very sorry to have to say good bye for now. please watch our face book page and we will post information on it. We will still be catering as we have in the past. I want to thank every one that came in all of our customers we have so enjoyed serving you for the last year. We will be at the Apple festival, it will be our 25th year. and we will do some other local shows also We hope to see you soon God Bless and keep each one of you safe. I'm sorry to say the Crawfish boil has been cancelled for this week they did not have the select Crawfish that we wanted to get. They grade the crawfish in three grades select being the very best. We would not order them for our own family crawfish boil and we will not serve our customers something that we would not eat our selves. We will have one next week if we can get the big pretty select crawfish. Please share this so we can let everyone know. Thank you and have a blessed weekend.

Hello everyone it's time to order the Crawfish for this Friday, we will order in the morning at 11:00am. if you are wanting Crawfish please call and put your name down on the reservation list we place our order according to the reservations we have, the only way a customer can get crawfish is if someone on the list does not show up and that has not been happening. we do not like not being able to serve everyone but that has been happening because we didn't have enough for the ones that are not on the list. So i hope to hear from you by 11:00 Thursday morning.

Hello everyone thank you to everyone that came out for their Crawfish orders and we apologize to the ones that weren't able to get any. We had quiet a few call in orders for crawfish but unfortunately were not able to fill their requests due to them not having a reservation. The reservation is very important because it locks in your order and you are served first before anyone that might call in. We order the crawfish according to the reservations we have. We already have several reservations for next week so if you are ready to eat some tasty beautiful crawfish please make sure you call for your reservation before 11:00am Thursday morning this coming week. Hello everyone please remember the crawfish boil is Friday evening and if you are planning on being here we will need to put you on the reservation list. The deadline for the list is Thursday morning at 10:30, we will place the order at 10:30 that will be 9:30 Louisiana time. We will order according to our reservation list. Hello Everyone Well the Crawfish boil went absolutely great everyone that was on our reservation list came except one. They sold so well that we will be having a crawfish boil every Friday untill the end of the season. Hello everyone if you are interested in having crawfish at the crawfish boil please call and place your name on our list only the names on the list will be gauranteed crawfish they will get thiers first then if we have extra we will serve those on a first come basis. Because they are being shipped from Louisiana. By reservation is the only way we can ensure that we order enough,( and not too much), for those that are on the list.
